Bonnie Louise Whetzel

     KEYSER, WV - Bonnie Louise Whetzel, 69, of Keyser, died on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland.

     Born on July 25, 1951 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Rose Fazzalore.

     Bonnie graduated from Keyser High School. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption, and Assumption Ladies Guild. A devoted homemaker, whom loved her family and friends and lived life to the fullest. She had a love of the outdoors and shared that passion with her husband camping and riding four wheelers.  Hosting family holidays were very special for her and she especially enjoyed cooking big holiday meals and spending time with her loved ones.

      Surviving are her loving husband, Marvin G. Whetzel; her sons, Brian Whetzel and companion Samantha and Shawn Whetzel and wife Carol; a brother, Sam Fazzalore and wife Sara; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Derek, Chad, Brittany and Emma and her four great-grandchildren, Halie, Hayden, Ava, Xander. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 2:00 - 400pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm and a Christian wake service at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Assumption, Keyser on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 11:00 am with Fr. Thomas Sabastian, CST as Celebrant. Friends will be received one hour prior to services. Interment will follow services in St. Thomas Cemetery.

     Due to the Current Health concerns, all guests are required to wear face masks and exercise social distancing at all time.
