Billy “Joe” Derossett

     ROMNEY, WV- Billy “Joe” Derossett, 58, of Romney, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center.

     Born on September 17, 1961 in Baltimore City, MD, he was a son of the late Ella Mae (Christian) and Norman R. Derossett, Sr.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Chuck and two sisters, Betty and Lois. 

     Joe worked as a Machine Operator binding books and will be dearly missed by his friends and family. 

     Surviving are his daughters, Tina Marie Broadwater and Tracy L. Sherburne; three brothers, Norman, Jr., Johnny and Kenny; a sister, Barbara and his six grandchildren, Briauna, Morgan, Zackary, Noah, Abbie and Mason.

     Attendance by appointment only please call 304-788-3231 to set up a time for visit and/or reserve seating for Funeral, all guest are required to wear mask and exercise social distancing at all time. Visitation held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Markwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow Visitation at 4:00pm with Reverend Samuel Biser officiating. A private committal will be at a later date.
