     KEYSER, WV – Betty Jo Baker, 78, of Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Moran Manor in Westernport, Maryland.

     Born on Saturday, February 18, 1939 in Westernport, Maryland, she was the daughter of the Late Lillie Sugars. She was also preceded in death by her companion of many years, Allen Broadwater and a daughter, Brenda Lee Hemmerly.

     Betty was a homemaker who loved her family and friends.

     Surviving are her children, Steven Baker, Douglas Baker, Robin L. Stewart and Cindy Broadwater and her three brothers, Francis Armstrong, Lewis Armstrong and Terry Armstrong. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     The Family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11a.m. – 1p.m. Funeral services will be held after the visitation at 1p.m. with Pastor Tim Bittinger officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Barton, Maryland.
