Barbara Mary Grubbs
KEYSER, WV - Barbara Mary Grubbs, 88, of Keyser, passed away on December 14, 2022 at Stonerise of Keyser Nursing Home.
Born on September 28, 1934 in Piedmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Lee and Catherine E. (Stine) Stanhagen. She is also preceded in death by her half-brother, Mason Stanhagen.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of the Busy Bee CEOs for more than 50 plus years and a Catholic by faith. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband, Lorenzo C. Grubbs; two sons, Steven Grubbs and wife Kathy, Brian Grubbs and partner Marie and her daughter, Karen Barrick and husband Howard; two sisters, Catherine Cuppett and husband Stuart and Linda Lupis and husband John and her twelve grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Ryan and wife Amanda, Garrett and wife Rebeca and Allyssa Grubbs, Andrea and partner Larry, Brent and wife Meredythe and Carrie Barrick and Jesse Grubbs, Brian Grubbs and wife Kelly, Ashley Barker and husband Dave and Brianna Dobbs and partner Justin. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Upon her request, her body has been donated to the Human Gift Registry of WVU.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
