A. Willard Oglesbee
KEYSER, W.Va – Arthur Willard Oglesbee, 85, of 365 Valley View Avenue, Keyser, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on January 7, 1923 in Keyser, he was a son of the late Arthur W. and Pauline B. (Crane) Oglesbee. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sam Oglesbee.
Mr. Oglesbee was a retired spray paint operator from Penn Ventilator. Willard was a 1941 graduate of Keyser High School and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and VFW Post 3518 Nancy Hanks, Keyser.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Patricia “Patsy” J. (Crane) Oglesbee; his son Rodney Oglesbee, both of Keyser; two sisters, Maxine Dolan, a resident of Heartland of Keyser and Martha Hacker of New Castle,Oklahoma. He is also survived his pet Yorkie C.B.
At Mr. Oglesbee’s request, his body will be cremated and there will be no viewing or visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser, W.Va.
