     KEYSER, WV – Anna Lee Boehmes, 89, of Keyser, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

     Born on January 29, 1936 in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Scoot and Iva Grace (Kile) Miller.   She was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Harold “Pete” Boehmes on July 26, 2013; her brothers, Charles Miller, Arthur Miller, Richard Miller and Claude Miller and her sisters, Ina Leatherman, Grace Franklin-Sines and Audrey Jean Miller. She was the last surviving member of her family.

     Anna Lee was a 1955 graduate of Bruce High School.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and VFW Post 6775, Queen’s Point Auxiliary, McCoole.

     Left to cherish her memory are her, children, Monica Simmons and husband Danny and Lowell & Vicky Boehmes, all of Keyser, her three grandchildren, Shay Ann & Jr. Kesner, Terra & Donny Feaster and Kerry & Michael Clark; eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Daimion, Raelynn, Molly, Alana, Cierra, Dakota and Lilith and one great-great granddaughter, Nevach.  Surviving also are her brother-in-law, Richard and Diane Boehmes and many nieces and nephews.  

     At Anna Lee’s wishes, there will be no services and private inurnment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
