Amy Denise Moorehead, born on November 20, 1968, in Keyser, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was 57 years old.
A graduate of Bruce High School, Amy carried the values and lessons she learned throughout her life. She was a woman of faith who attended Christ Memorial Baptist Church, where she found spiritual guidance and community.
Amy is lovingly remembered by her mother Beverly Brown Carder and husband Darrel; her father Russell Moorehead; her children Tessa Redman and Tyler Redman along with his fiancée Ally; and her cherished grandchildren Sawyer Kaylor and Brielle Redman; Sister, Mishawn Vinci and husband Robert, her brother, Michael Carder. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles who held a special place in her life. Amy was predeceased by her brother Brian C. Moorehead, her paternal grandparents Russell and Mary Louise Moorehead and maternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Brown.
Amy’s presence brought joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends..

A gathering of friends and family will be 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ,May 27,2026 with her Memorial Service will be held on May 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rick High officiating at Markwood Funeral Home 111 S. Mineral St. Keyser, West Virginia.
