Allan Roswell Patchett
NEW CREEK, WV – Allan Roswell Patchett, 83, of New Creek, died on Monday, December 3, 2018 at his residence.
Born on September 18, 1935, in Cumberland, MD, he was a son of the late Joseph Edmund and Mary Virginia (Ervin) Patchett. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Allan was a Self-employed Farmer and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean conflict. He graduated from Saint James School in Hagerstown, MD, attended Potomac State College and earned his Agricultural Degree at West Virginia University. He was a Faithful and Supportive member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Keyser, WV.
Surviving are his wife, the love of his life, Evona Lee (Runion) Patchett, his two cousins, Arthur A. Patchett and Joseph E. Patchett. Allen’s joy of his life were his cats on the farm. He especially enjoyed the daily companionship of his beloved cat, “Lee” riding on the golf cart around their farm.

At his request there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Private Interment will be in Knobley Cemetery, Antioch with military honors accorded by the United States Army National Honor Guard.
