Sherrie Candace Zacot
Keyser, WV – Sherrie Candace Zacot, 67, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Potomac Valley Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Born Monday, September 18, 1950, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Daniel and Mildred (Ravenscroft) Spencer.
Sherrie graduated from Keyser High School, retired from Automated Packaging Systems on September 18, 2012 and was a former employee of Heck’s in Keyser. She was a member of Independent Assembly of God, Fountain Gospel Chapel where she was a Sunday school teacher, member of Limestone CEO and one of the original quilters. She volunteered with Faith in Action Food Pantry, the Back to School BASH, Fountain School Reading Program and was instrumental in starting the Backpack give-away at the Fountain Independent Church. She also was a former 4-H Leader.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Zacot, Sr.; two children, Joseph Zacot, Jr. and wife Kelly (Markwood) of Charles Town and Candace (Zacot) Kunz and husband Dan of Alliance, Ohio and her four grandchildren, Seton Zacot, Dakotah Zacot, Colin Kunz and Garret Kunz.

Family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11am with the Reverend Michael Goldizen and the Reverend Ted Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at Potomac Memorial Gardens.
