Ralph L. Fultz

     MOUNT STORM, WV – Ralph L. “Red Beard” Fultz, 62, of Mount Storm, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at WM Regional Medical Center.

     Born on May 6, 1954 in Moorefield, he was a son of the late Thurman A. and Charlotte E. (Johnson) Fultz.  He was also preceded in death by his foster parents who raised him, Thomas and Ann Hesse and two sisters, Dianne Lewis Chesney and Tina Dale Fultz.

     Ralph was a Logger for Huffman Logging and former miner for Mettiki Coal Company and maintenance laborer for power plant contractor.  He was a former member of Mount Storm Lions Club.  A sportsman of fishing and hunting, he enjoyed taking youth on fishing trips and had a special fishing buddy, Tommy.

     Surviving are his wife, Carol Sue “Susie” (Adams) Fultz; his children, Shaun Linwood Fultz of Keyser and William Adam Fultz and fiancé Megan Daughtery of Bayard; his brothers, James Fultz of Rig, Larry Fultz of DE, Leon Allen Fultz and wife Jean of Bayard, Patrick Fultz of Romney; his sisters, Linda Shatzer and husband Robert IN, Roselee Garrison and husband Mike of Augusta, Lila Mellert of Huntington and a foster brother Elmo Hesse and wife Annabelle of Maysville. He is also survived by his father-in-law, William K. Adams of Mount Storm, Brother-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Adams and wife Carol of Mount Storm and sister-in-law, Tammy Adams Evans and husband David Wayne of Elk Garden; best friend Bonnie Hefner and he was Janet Churchey’s “baby boy”, both of Keyser.

     Ralph was an organ donor and his wishes were to be cremated. The family will hold private services.

     Contributions may be made in memory of Ralph Fultz to Mount Storm Lions Club, P.O. Box 55, Mount Storm, WV 26739.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, WV.
