Mark Allen Rizer

     KEYSER, WV - Mark Allen Rizer, 58, of Keyser, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his residence.

     Born April 27, 1959, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of Betty (Henry) Rizer and the late George G. “Bud” Rizer. He was also preceded in death by a son, Tristan G Rizer on July 14, 2015 and a brother, Stephen C. Rizer.

     Mark graduated from Keyser High School, class of 1977 and was an U.S. Army Desert Storm Veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The Battery C 1^st Battalion 201^st FA National Guard Keyser, WV for 14 years and a former member of the Boyce Houser Post 41, American Legion.

     Surviving in addition to his mother, Betty (Henry) Rizer of Keyser, are his wife, Brenda Faye (O’Haver) Rizer, and a daughter, Tiffany L. Croft of Orange Park, FL and two grandchildren, Elisabethe C. Rizer and Gabriell Croft. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Rizer Cooper, Virginia Haggerty and Joby Hanlin and husband Jerry; two brothers-in-law, Charles O’ Haver and wife Joyce and Lee O’ Haver; his niece Stephanie J. Oates and his nephew Daniel Craig Rizer; his great nephew Caden Joseph Stephen Oates and great niece Averi Daniele Oates.

       The Family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, Keyser on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. A Memorial Service at the church following the visitation with the Reverend Shirley Reed Officiating.  Private inurnment will be in Potomac Memorial Garden.
