Mabel Louise (Harris) Kight Larson

OXNARD, CA – Mabel Louise (Harris) Kight Larson, 83, of Oxnard passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 after complications from surgery.

     Born on November 10, 1933, in Keyser, WV, she was the middle child of three children of the late Milburn and Carrie (Longsdorf) Harris.  In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Harris; two husbands, William “Bob” Kight and Donald Larson; a grandson, Johnathan Kight and a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Kight.

     Mabel graduated from Keyser High School class of 1951.  For the last 50 years she has resided in Oxnard.  She enjoyed travel, which she did a lot as a Navy wife.  She also enjoyed garage sales and buying trinkets for the grandchildren.  Most of all she loved her family and her many life-long friends.

     Surviving are her three sons, Robert (Nina) Kight of Bailey, CO, Ronald (Bev) Kight of Oxnard, CA, and Randy Kight of Laguna Beach, CA and her brother, Tom (Nina) Harris.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Michael and Anna Kight, Russ (Jessica) Kight and Tina (Kelby) Morgan, David, Matt (Crista), Caroline, and Christian Kight and great-grandchildren Nathan, Brianna, and Riley Kight, Faith, Katie, and Kael Morgan, Zackery and Hannah Kight, and Sadie and Michelle Kight.

    Graveside Services will be held at Queens Point Cemetery, Keyser, WV on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Lauren Godwin officiating.
