Gertrude (Jackson) Tysinger

     KEYSER, WV – Gertrude (Jackson) Tysinger, 90, of Carskadon St., formerly Church St., Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Maryland Regional Health System.

     Born Thursday, November 3, 1927 in Westernport, MD, she was a daughter of the late Michael Frank Jackson and Nannie (Gannon) Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Tysinger and four brothers, Henry, Johnny, Charlie and Robert Jackson.

     Gertrude was a graduate of St. Peters High School and was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church.

     Surviving are her son, Mark E. Tysinger & wife Tina of Cumberland, MD and her brother, Dr. Thomas Jackson of Wooster, OH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren M. Root and husband Garrett and Ian M. Tysinger and wife Kalei, Travis Orange and fiancée Kelsey Day and Natalie Orange and 6 great-grandchildren Gavin, Tristen, Brielle and Kyndell Root and Landon and Maddox Tysinger.

     In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to The Assumption Church Ladies Guild, 34 James Street, Keyser, WV, 26726.

     The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow Service in St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
