George Carroll “Nig” Pattison, Jr.

     Keyser, WV – George Carroll “Nig” Pattison, Jr., 76, died on Monday August 27, 2018 at his residence.

     Born on April 13, 1942 in Franklin, MD, he was a son of the late George Carroll, Sr. and Louise Katherine (Keller) Pattison. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean (Cavanaugh) Pattison and his sister, Sheila Anna Savage.

     Nig was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Westvaco as a Journeyman. He graduated from Bruce High School Class of 1960 and was a member of the Bloomington United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

     Surviving are his children, Kevina Dawn Pattison of Winchester, VA, Andrew Pattison of Keyser, Lisa Ann Cronauer of Roaring Spring, PA and John Carroll Pattison and wife Angel of Grand Cane, LA; a brother, Charles Pattison of Milburn, FL and his sisters, Sue Spiker of Westernport and Kitty Mills of Georgia. He also survived by his grandchildren, Lauren, Josh, Tessa, Lindsay, David, Amber, Ally, Cassie, Michael, Kayla, Garrett, Brendan, Julian and Danielle and nine great-grandchildren.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 11am – 1pm and Funeral Services following at 1pm with the Reverend John Johnson officiating. Interment will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens with Military Honors accorded by the United States National Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post #13 Veterans Army Honor Guard.
