Fredrick F. “Fred” Hamilton

     KEYSER, WV -  Fredrick F. “Fred” Hamilton, 78, of James Street, Keyser, passed away at the Western Maryland Health System Hospital on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Born in Keyser, he was the son of Albert and Carrie (Cavanaugh) Hamilton.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hamilton and two sisters Patsy McNemar and Jeanie Hamilton.

     Fred was retired as a maintenance worker at Mead Westvaco. He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God church and Davis Lodge #51 AF & AM, Keyser.

     Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Bona Jean (Poland) Hamilton; his son Rick Hamilton and wife Jennifer; his daughter Bona Berg both of Keyser and a sister, Ruth Ann Primm of West Union, WV.  He is also survived by his dog/son ‘Ralphie’.

     Friends and family will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19 from 11:00 – 2:00 PM.  Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00, following the visitation, with David Krause, officiating.  Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 536 Virginia St., Keyser, WV  26726.
