I was saddened to find that Ed had passed.  I worked with him at IMC on several projects.  I would run into him occasionally after I left the company and was always willing to stop and catch up on life.  I am sure his expertise and kind personality will be missed by all that worked with and new him.

I met Ed back in 2010 as part of IBM's NISC acquisition.  We worked together briefly on a few things and he always was someone you could count on to get things done.  He will be missed.

I will always have very fond memories of Ed.  I have known him since 1989 and worked with him off and on for a majority of that time.  He actually was the person that reached out to me about the job at ABL after our first stint at Micro-Integration together.

We really enjoyed working together and kidding with each other - political debates were a favorite topic.  One of my best memories of Ed was at a Board meeting at Micro-Integration.  John, Janine, Bill, Ed, Mark and I were at a table contemplating a very tough decision.  I believe the decision was made that we were going to have to make personnel cuts and the discussion was about who was going to be involved.  John went around the table and asked everyone's opinion.  Ed passed the first around and when John came back to him to push him for an answer, Ed struggled and finally blurted out "My mind can't make it self up".

Well I (we) teased Ed about that comment for years after that and we laughed together.  The thing is - it wasn't that he didn't have an opinion, he was just too kind of a person to say it.

I have repeated Ed's "blurt" many times since then when I have been faced with tough decisions, always with fond memories of Ed.

Mr. Fisher was my first Service Area Manager(SAM). He was very accessible, answered my questions and gave me good advice. Beyond that he was very caring. On one occasion when coming to work I had a mechanical problem with my car. When I informed him, he was genuinely concerned and provided me with a phone number to a car repair shop. Later he followed up with me to find out how I had repaired my car. May he rest in peace!

I am so sorry for your loss.  I had worked with Ed for many years here at IBM and he was one of the kindest people I knew.  He will be greatly missed by his colleagues.

Our hearts are broken. Ed was so kind.  We were part of the same team at Micro-Integration - all in it together for so many years.  He will always be part of the heart that was MI. Peace to you, Ed, our friend. Much love, John and Janine Parsons.

I will miss Ed.  He was part of what made our Rocket Center team so great.  I will miss his kindness and rock-solid work ethic and knowledge.  He's left a gaping hole that no one can fill and has touched a lot of lives in ways too numerous to list.

Ed will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, humble and generous soul who touched more people than he knew with his gentle spirit.

My sincere sympathy and love goes out to Pat.  Ed was such a kind and generous guy.  He has left an empty space in the lives of many. I will miss his large smile and happy laugh.  Pat, know that you and Ed are in my prayers and my heart.  I so wish I had gotten him back to Bishopville....to redo those ole memories.  Much love from Mickey and Candy
