"Ed" (Paul Edward) Fisher

KEYSER, WV - “Ed” (Paul Edward) Fisher, 63, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, at WM Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.

            Born on July 4, 1954, in Keyser, WV, he was a son of the late Eugene and Virginia Mae (Brown) Fisher.

            Ed was a Project Manager for IBM Global Business Services in Rocket Center, WV. He was a 1972 graduate of Keyser High School and followed with degrees at Potomac State College and West Virginia University.

            Ed loved spending weekends in Rehoboth Beach, visiting New York City to see Broadway shows, and his pet cats. He was a strong supporter of local theater productions.

            He is survived by his devoted brother Patrick Fisher, Patrick’s husband, Rick Rodgers, both of Maplewood, NJ, and several cousins.  He leaves behind his close friends and coworkers, including Eric Wagstaff and Kelly Durst, among many others who will miss his kind and gentle spirit.

            Friends will be received at Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 11 am-12 pm.
