Dean L. Dye, Jr.

     KEYSER, WV – Dean L. Dye, 43, of W. Piedmont Street, Keyser, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at his residence.

     Born on July 28, 1974 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Dean L. Dye, Sr. and Jeanette M. (Entler) Dye.  He was also preceded in death by a step-mother, Barbara Dye.

     Dean was a self-employed independent contractor.  He was a graduate of Stanley Tech and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

     Surviving are his half-brother, Harry “Danny” Bennett; his step-mother, Margaret Dye; his special partner/caregiver, Michelle Shimer Dye; his stepdaughter, Elizabeth Colmer; his stepsons, Hunter L. Colmer and  Dalton J. Colmer; his step-granddaughter and light of his life, Danielle Marie and his nephews, Jonathan Armentrout and Nathaniel Armentrout.   He is also survived by his caregiver/good friend, Jason Ward; his good friend, Raymond Keller; his cousin, Russell Poe; best friends, Andy Sanders, Nathan Eversole and Jason Haines and his fur babies and best buddies, Budda, Rosie and Brutus.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4 p.m. with Jason Ward & James Dye officiating.     

     Private inurnment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Markwood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 912, Keyser, WV 26726 to help with the funeral expenses.
