KEYSER, WV – Cindy Sue Duckworth, 60, of Simon Street, formerly of Elk Garden, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Potomac Valley Hospital. Born March 2, 1957 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Norma (Lyons) Paugh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Don D. Duckworth, a daughter, Kimberly Duckworth, two brothers Larry “Dike” Paugh and Robert Paugh, a sister, Peggy Rohrbaugh and a brother-in-law Riley Rohrbaugh.
Cindy was a nurse’s aide at Heartland of Keyser and a former employee of Pine’s Restaurant. She was also a lifetime member of the Elk Garden Rescue Squad.
She is survived by a daughter Teresa Duckworth, a son Billy Duckworth; three brothers, Sam Paugh and wife Sharon of Elk Garden, Clyde Paugh and wife Sherry of Keyser, Mike Paugh and wife Debbie of Keyser; two sisters, Barb Cianelli and husband Ed and Brenda Berosky and husband chuck, both of Marianna, PA .She is also survived by sisters-in-law Sue Cosner and husband Richard, Sharon Paugh both of Elk Garden and Kim Paugh of Mt. Storm; two grandsons, Stephen Pritts and Shawn Miller; best friends and sisters-like, Marlene Fout and Bonnie Droppleman and her care giver and best friend Betsy VanMeter. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday April 14 from Noon – 2 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home, following the visitation, at 2:00 PM with Reverend John Friend officiating. Interment will follow at Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden.
