RIDGELEY, WV – Bryan Keith Kerns, 45, of Ridgeley, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence.

Born on February 8, 1973 in Cumberland, MD and spending his earlier years in Short Gap. He was a son of the late Willard Eugene, Sr. and Frieda Marie (Shanholtz) Kerns. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his niece Holly Jo Bailey.

Bryan attended Frankfort High School, was a Construction Carpenter. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Surviving are his daughter, Vanessa (Kesner) Simmons and husband William “Will”; his son, Darick Kerns; his sister, Rose (Kerns) Cates and husband David; his two brothers, Kelvin Kerns and wife Helen and Willard Kerns, Jr. and wife Terri and his grandson, Aden Simmons. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to care of the Markwood Funeral Home.
