Nelva Jean (Rogers) Miller

    KEYSER, WV – Nelva Jean (Rogers) Miller, 85, of Keyser, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

     Born on February 5, 1938 in Burlington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gerald C. and Lola A. (Biser) Rogers. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Homan and grandson, Joee Sanders, II. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

     Jean retired as a Selector for the Anchor Glass Company and was a member of the Believer’s Fellowship. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

     Left to cherish Jean’s memory are her children, Dean T. Miller and wife Peggy of Burlington, Patty A. Ellifritz of Keyser, Kevin Miller and wife Tami of Keyser and Roger Miller and wife Adriane of Keyser; her 8 grandchildren, Shawna Sanders Shumaker, Trina Miller, Bridgett Miller Peterson, Jacob Miller, Matthew Miller, Andrew Miller, Noah Miller and Ally Miller. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Ariana Peterson, McKenzie Peterson, Jason Miller, Kaleb Thornton, Alani Miller, Lincoln Miller Lola Sanders and Ava Sanders and her great-great grandson, Braylon Miller.

     In respecting Jean’s wishes her body will be cremated and there will be no public viewing or visitation services.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
