KEYSER, W.Va. - Doris M. McDonald, 95, of 345 Hilltop Avenue, Keyser, died on Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Renton, Washington.
Born July 14, 1914, in Warwood, WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Ada F. (Draher) Buzzard. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Frank H. "Dutch" Tribett and William I. "Bill" McDonald and her son Charles A. Tribett. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a member of Rees Chapel United Methodist Church, New Creek.
Surviving are her two daughters: Connie Courrier and husband Ernie of Williamsburg, VA and Sally Giffin and husband Ted of Renton, Wash; daughter-in-law: Ellen Tribett of Massillon, OH; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Rosemary Buzzard of Wheeling and Annabelle Taylor of New Creek.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, from 2 to 6 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Daniel Stemple officiating.
Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in memory of Doris M. McDonald be made to Rees Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 76, New Creek, WV 26743.
