Louise W. Murphy

      KEYSER, WV – Louise W. Murphy, 87, of 593 W. Piedmont Street, Keyser, died on Friday, March 5, 2010 at her residence.

      Born on April 13, 1922 in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Verne and Ruth (Liller) Wilson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Murphy, Sr. on June 11, 1998.

      Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

      Surviving are her son, John H. Murphy, Jr. of Bloomington, MD; a daughter Shirley M. Pomeroy and husband Russell E. of Winchester, VA; a Sister and special friend, Sarah Richards of Keyser and a brother, David Wilson of Oakland, MD.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jennifer A. Kinkella, Rachel L. Barnes and Jason J. Murphy and four great-grandchildren, Joey and Jaclyn Kinkella and Ethan and Everett Barnes.

       A funeral services was held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 in the Potomac Memorial Gardens Chapel with Mark Reed officiating.  Entombment was in Potomac Memorial Garden Mausoleum.
