             God’s Promise

God didn’t promise days without pain,

Laughter without sorrow or sun without rain.

But God did promise strength for the day,

Comfort for the tears and a light for the way.

Betty, Annette & Bridgette....there is no way I can express the sadness I have in Tom's passing. I have endeavored for several years now to make a trip back to Keyser just to see you. The distance between us ,because of my having moved, prevented my being able to be of service to Tom in his last days.
I hold only the best of memories of my years in Keyser and of the relationship I had with William Thomas Kennedy....I have always viewed him as a man's man that had integrity matched by few others. He always set the example for me as to how to conduct my affairs. For that I am very appreciative. My life would be missing a large section of tiles in my mosaic of experiences had our paths not crossed.
I will be lifting all of you up in prayer. I hope that we can stay in touch.
God Bless. ~ g.w.h.

Betty, Annette and Bridgette,

I am sorry to see that Tom passed away. He was like a second dad to me. I am glad that I got to see him and sit with him and Betty in church over Christmas. He was a proud and honorable man and loved by many. He will forever remain in your hearts and in all the lives that he touched. He''''s resting in Heaven with our Savior and is not hurting or in pain. My prayers have been and will continue to be with you all.

Love,
Hanne

Annette, I was sad to see the news of your dad's passing. My mom went home to be with the Lord in January 2009. It was really hard to see her go. The pastor offered some words of comfort. He said to those of us who know the Lord there will be a time we shall see our loved ones again. Instead of saying good bye he said tell them that 'you will see them in the morning.' And so that is what I told my mom-that I would see her in the morning. The days ahead will be rough, so I pray that you will have peace in knowing your dad is alright now, that you will find comfort in the Lord. Please take care Annette. Love, Margo

Betty,

Deepest condolences for your loss. I didn't know your husband very well, but you were a very big influence on my career choice. I feel that my longevity in my career as a hairdresser was largely in part due to you. Keep close to your heart all of those cherished memories and your faith in God will help sustain you in this most difficult time.
